Who We Are

A not-for-profit civil society organization dedicated to the fight against tuberculosis and the creation of a world free from the disease.

TB Free Namibia

The TB Free Foundation is a not-for-profit civil society organization that was established to work collaboratively towards the END TB goals and advocate for TB patients throughout Namibia.

The organization is dedicated to the fight against tuberculosis (TB) and the creation of a world free from the disease. Our mission is deeply rooted in advocating for the rights of TB patients, ensuring equitable access to healthcare, diagnostics, and treatment, and increasing awareness and education about TB in our communities.

Founded by a TB survivor who faced stigma and isolation, we fight every day for those who do not have a voice.

TB FREE Foundation supports the global approach of community mobilization and engagement in the fight against disease and improved healthy living, including the fight against Tuberculosis. It supports the people- and community-centered strategies that the National TB Strategic Plan for 2022/2023-2027/2028 proposes to create an enabling environment with greater consideration for equality and equal access to health care thereby reducing discrimination and stigma.

The foundation further supports the WHO people-centered framework for TB planning that is based on the continuum of care, using epidemiological and system related information and plans according to a root cause analysis that prioritize and optimize interventions.
